I LOVE KING GYROS! Get a gyros or rib tips and fries. This is Fort Wayne's gyros mecca, and I've made a faithful pilgrimage every chance i get. I've been going to King Gyros for as long as I remember, and I love it. It makes me happy I'm from Fort Wayne.

I ate here tonight after a late tincaps game. The service was fast and the employees were friendly (I was surprised how fast the service was especially considering the time of night). I ordered the gyro combo- it had plenty of food and did not disappoint. My only recommendations would be to add some seasoning to the fries (piping hot, but a little bland), about half the amount of onions on the gyro, and include napkins in the bag (The gyro was messy with all the sauce). Great place, will be back again.

So many reasons this place gets such a high recommendation. First being that they are a drive thru that is actually tasty and saves you from having to eat McDonalds after a late night on the town. Secondly, it was fast and very affordable. The gyro plate was fantastic and it was a great portion for two people to share at $7.50 a plate. Besides coming back to the fort to see my lovely friends, I will be visiting to satisfy my guilty pleasure at King Gyros ;)

This place is amazing! I live in Augusta Ga, so when we come to visit our family in Fort Wayne, we come eat here at least twice in one week. The portions are huge and decently priced.

Gave two stars because the tahini sauce was good. I have never had a gyro where there was so little meat I could roll the gyro up and eat like a "small " burrito. There were more onions and sauce than meat There was so little meat that I even asked the lady running the register if that was typical of how little meat. Without even looking She said yes. My advice don't go here. Unless you prefer the taste of onion, sauce, and bread, you won't find much meat. And a rather cold shoulder from the arrogant staff.

Visiting Ft. Wayne on business and needed a lunch spot. I ordered a Gyro, fries, drink, and Greek Salad. The restaurant was clean, the staff was courteous and helpful as this was my first time there. Food was good and fresh. Seemed as though they made their own tzaziki and salad dressing, bonus.

These guys make some amazing gyros. I love the meat. Sometimes I just get a pound of the meat and eat that. The greek salads are good too (although I don't like greek olives, I pick them off). I usually get a gyros plate. Their fries are really good too, more on the slim side and always just salty enough to satisfy. The cucumber dip is awesome, I put that on everything, even the fries. The onions are normally on the strong side, so I use those sparingly, and if you haven't ever gotten drive-through from these guys, expect any area you have the food in to smell that way for a while. The car always has the meat smell for a day or two afterwards, and same with my kitchen. Oh and I almost forgot, the fried mushrooms are delish as well. For a fast-food style restaurant, they're one of my favorites.

Great food that doesn't miss the mark. The restaurant is clean. The staff is very friendly. Awesome location with lots to do in the area. A great place for great food at a reasonable price.

These guys are great - we put in a huge carryout order last week, and not only were they able to fill it, but they were able to split it up just the way that we asked. They even helped us to carry it all out to the car, which was quite appreciated! We got a bunch of lamb & chicken gyros with toppings on the side, and they were a hit with everyone. Bottom line: food was great, service was even better. Thanks guys!!

I was concerned about my health eating here. Edible but barely. So many onions my body started to reject the food substance as it was going in my body. Indigestion would be putting it mildly. Scary that this gets 4 stars. Somewhere a Greek man is very angry this is passing as a Gyro.

This place can get packed around lunch time if you want to eat inside. The food is really good and they have always had my order within seconds.

There are two things my mom and I always get here: Gyro - For being their specialty, they make a GREAT gyro. I've seriously never tasted a better gyro anywhere else in the states. Ask for an extra container of sauce, if you like food heavy sauced. Ribs and Fries - I DREAM ABOUT THESE RIBS. Seriously, they are that good. Every time I come home, I have to get these. The bbq sauce is not a dark heavy sauce, instead it is a bright red sauce with medium consistency (it's not too thick and not too thin, just perfect). Always fall off the bone goodness, smothered in their sauce, and served with french fries (I always tell them to give me a double serving of fries instead of coleslaw). They also give you a piece of bread (looks like garlic bread but without the garlic butter). You MUST dip the fries and the bread in the bbq sauce. It's to die for. Go here if you want some amazing food.

Friendly staff, good food at good price, nothing to complain, i tried almost everything on the menu here.

For what it is, I can't complain about anything. The place is clean, the service is fast, the menu is varied and the quality is better than what you'd get at most places. Plus it has a personality, something you can't get at a fast food joint.

I've eaten here a lot of times but today the Philly Cheese Steak was a bunch of gristle-y crap. Won't have it again. Disappointing visit.

I can only review the gyro plate because I love it so much I never order anything else. Perhaps that says it all but if not....the gyro meat, pita, onions, feta and sauce are great at every visit. Fries are hit & miss but I care more about the gyro. Ordering the plate means you get far more gyro meat than will fit in the pita! I live out west and every time I visit, KG is a must.
(5)Tom M.
A really great gyro! They don't skimp on the meat or sauce. The ribs are also very good for the price. Friendly service that moves very quickly. If you want a great gyro on the cheap, this is your place.

The best gyro in town. I'm serial. I just love this little "hole-in-the-wall" "out in the open" type of eateries here in the city. Mr. Gyros is a mini (only a dozen or so tables) place that dishes out some delicious gyros and falafels (and other goodies too). When I walk into that place, I already know what I'm going to order.....the Gyro Plate. It's packed with freshly sliced lamb and hummus. I also like to get the Greek fries on the side as well. While I'm waiting, I sometimes just like to stare down the "lamb log" on the rotisserie just to let it know who's boss. You're going down, lamb log! The service is fast and friendly. They're basically two brothers that own the establishment and are really cool about chatting about anything with the customers while waiting for their food.

Had the rib tip dinner. It tasted great but had many bones. My first time with rib tips so this is what is typical. Will come back and explore other menu options.
